This double-sided piece is one of a series of handwoven artworks and interior accessories from the Altitude100 collection.
Inspired by the stepped forms of the Belgium Art Deco church, St Augustin, which is situated in Brussels at the centre of Altitude 100, the highest point in the city.
Handwoven in my studio using British wool and a double cloth technique, two layers of colour and cloth interplay with four weave structures creating new shades and bold textural shapes where warp and weft meet.
